Speaker: Carrie Shearer Manager, Marketing and Community Outreach, NM Home Health and Hospice Ms. Shearer has over 25 years of experience in healthcare with a focus on home health, palliative care, hospice care, chronic illness and disability. It is never easy to give bad news, but there are ways to make it more acceptable. In this session, we'll discuss a six-step method for effectively communicating bad news that truly supports patients and families. Breakfast will be served. At the completion of this program, social workers and RNs will receive 1 CEU.
