Join us for the six-week class, “Parenting the Love and Logic Way,” held at St. Matthew United Church of Christ in Wheaton. Love and Logic is a proven technique that teaches your kids to listen the first time, and gives you tools for raising respectful and responsible children. Peter Martin will be leading the series. Each session will cover a separate topic and the series will be helpful whether you are the parent of a newborn or a high school senior. The free weekly classes will be held on Sunday evenings from 6 – 7:30pm.

April 15 – Teaching Responsibility Without Losing Their Love
April 22 – Setting Limits Without Waging War
April 29 – Avoiding Power Struggles
May 6 – Guiding Kids to Own and Solve Their Own Problems
May 13 – Teaching Kids to Complete Chores… Without Reminders and Without Pay
Peter Martin is a middle school social worker who has also worked in social services as a child welfare specialist and in early intervention. Peter has used Love and Logic both personally and professionally, and has taught Love and Logic for over 10 years. Love and Logic is a proven parenting technique that has been used for over forty years.
