The Coleman Foundation will match donations made online at www.wdsra.com on Giving Tuesday, November 29, 2016.
Community School of the Arts and Community Outreach for Developing Artists
We have a matching grant for CODA.
Invest in the Arts! Community School of the Arts' Annual Campaign has become a foundational service to provide arts education to many who recognize its importance, but lack the funds to provide it for their children. Help continue this strong and ongoing tradition of financial support through your donation this year. When you donate to CSA and designate CSA's Community Outreach for Developing Artists (CODA) program, your gift is doubled up to 10K! With all donations, 100% of your tax-deductible gift will go to help students who demonstrate financial need.
The Theosophical Society
The Kern Foundation is offering a matching challenge grant up to $40,000.
All donations the Theosophical Society in America receives on #GivingTuesday will help us pursue innovative programs with engaging speakers; expand our online presence by livestreaming events, offering new online classes, and adding more free educational content to our website; make essential repairs to our historic Rogers building; and maintain our 42-acre campus so that those seeking spiritual knowledge have the best opportunities and resources to obtain it.
BR RYALL YMCA
Picture this: a community where every child becomes a healthy, successful adult. Imagine if kids had a passport for life that would give them a safe passage to be healthy, confident, connected and secure.
All would graduate from high school with skills beyond academics including swimming, sports and the arts. And not only would kids get along with and respect each other, they would also give back to their community.
Let’s not imagine, let’s make it happen.
Last year alone we served 410 children in these programs. One in every six of them required financial assistance. Please give generously. Give kids the mentorship and guidance they need to thrive. Give the gift of possibility, the gift of belonging and the gift of a brighter future—for a better us, for all of us.
Your contribution can provide a scholarship for a local child to attend after-school youth programming for:
1 day ($20), 2 days ($40), 3 days ($60), 4 days ($80) or 1 week ($100). Every gift counts and makes an impact, regardless of amount.

To participate in #Giving Tuesday you can:
- make a monetary donation by clicking here;
- host a Share the Spirit Toy drive so we can provide holiday gifts to families who would otherwise go without;
- volunteer at PRC;
- donate food to our food pantry;
- or think of new ways to help!
Keep in mind that every $1 donated to the food pantry allows us to purchase $4 worth of food at the Northern Illinois Food Bank. And a $30 donation fills a shopping cart with enough food for a family for a week. Your support is essential - last year, over 29,000 people received help at PRC. Thank you for helping locally and becoming part of this worldwide movement.
