WHEATON, Ill. – Union Pacific Railroad will be testing four new signals between College Avenue in Wheaton and West Chicago from 8 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2010, through 5 a.m. Monday, July 19, 2010. During the testing period, trains will be operating at slower speeds through Wheaton, which may cause delays for people at crossings.

The testing is required per Federal Railroad Administration regulations in order to properly activate the new signals.
