Community Relations

Members of this committee come from a variety of industries, but all have a strong desire to connect businesses with consumers. There are opportunities to: 

• Expand your network 
• Develop relationships with other businesses
  as you learn more about them 
• Promote partnerships between Chamber members 
• Contribute to the development of programs which reach
  outside the  Chamber membership and into the community.  

Mission:

The Community Relations Committee will work to promote Wheaton Chamber businesses to the community by 

• Adding value to Wheaton Chamber memberships through programs and opportunities which showcase businesses to the community.
• Increasing Chamber visibility in the community
• Fostering partnerships between Chamber members to develop
  and grow business
• Driving web traffic to www.WheatonChamber.com

Special Roles:

Community Relations Committee is the face of "The Best of Wheaton Gamon Awards". Committee members visit award nominees to congratulate them and guide them to the optimal benefit of this recognition.

Community Relations Committee develops email marketing opportunities and a quarterly newsletter for residential consumers to promote Chamber members and increase business growth.

The Back to School Backpack/School Supply Collection led by this committee benefits CUSD 200 students in need.
