Committees That Work: The Heart of a Healthy Chamber

Wheaton Chamber members assist the Board of Directors in reaching the Chamber's goals by participating in various standing committees.

Get to know fellow members and develop deeper connections that lead to a stronger business community!

Read on for more information on each of the Wheaton Chamber committees.

Committees

Economic Development Task Force
Mission: The mission of the Economic Development Task Force is very focused on the Chamber's mission and vision.

Chamber Mission StatementThe Wheaton Chamber is dedicated to the success of the business community through leadership, education and service.

Chamber Vision Statement Our members are the pillars of the business community.  Together we join forces to influence business and community issues and make the Wheaton community a better place to work, live, and play.

Special Roles: A task force functions differently from a standing committee in that members are approved by the Board of Directors and tasked with objectives related to specific issues.

Economic Development Task Force members may be asked to make a commitment to attend City Council meetings and to be well versed in the Chamber's position on business issues, especially as it pertains to the recruitment, retention and development of Wheaton businesses.

First Monday of the month

Meeting Time: 5:30 - 6:30 pm, prior to City Council Meeting
