Wheaton Chamber of Commerce members assist the board of directors in reaching the Chamber's goals by participating in various standing committees and get to know fellow members and develop deeper connections that lead to a stronger business community. They also supply their expertise in the support of the event committees.

CommitteesCommunity RelationsPurpose: To promote Chamber visibility in the community and to it's visitors, to partner with Chamber members and other community groups, and to produce the premier place for the community to get their information about business and event happenings in Wheaton. Time Commitment: 1-2 hours/month Meeting Time and Place: Every 2nd Tuesday, 8:30 am, Chamber Office Membership DevelopmentPurpose: To continually strengthen the Wheaton Chamber in size and variety of membership categories through strategically planned initiatives. Event CommitteesCommittees members work through the planning and execution of the events below. The needed talents and time committments are varied, so check in with the Chamber staff to see how you can be involved! The Best of Wheaton: 2012 Gamon Awards Celebrating Wheaton's people and businesses with award recipients chosen by the Wheaton community. A Taste of Wheaton A Wheaton festival held the first weekend in June in partnership with the Wheaton Park District full of food, and fun for the entire family! Festivities feature local food vendors, carnival rides, live entertainment in the Beer Garden, Business Expo, Baggo games, children’s activities and more! Annual Golf Outing 18 holes of golf and dinner at one of our 3 golf course members, open to all levels of players who like to network, promote business, have some fun, and believe in mulligans. Steak Fry A networking social event offering a delicious steak or chicken dinner prepared grill-side with all the trimmings as well as a Chinese Raffle.
