COMMISSIONS
Members are tasked with specific responsibilities to represent and advance the mission of the Wheaton Chamber.

  • Government Relations members follow legislation at local, county, state and federal levels as it impacts Business
  • Arts & Sports Tourism members are tasked with optimizing opportunities for business to benefit from tourism - especially Frida Kahlo 2020 and Cylclocross Championship 2020.
  • 2020 Census Complete Count members foster communication between businesses, non-profit organizations, government and residents to ensure the highest possible participation for an accurate 2020 Federal Census.

COMMITTEES to Plan Signature Events

  • Style Showcase, especially for women, this event will elevate your professional style to new levels of WOW. Sample beauty and health treatments at the Beauty Bar, enjoy a runway style show of professional and casual fashions. Each year, the Gift Basket Drawing raises funds for local charities.
  • Taste of Wheaton, a 4-day, hometown festival of food, fun and live music to kick-off summer! Presented in partnership with the Wheaton Park District.
  • Roast & Toast is our Summertime Backyard BBQ for Wheaton Chamber members and their families and friends. We are going to play hard and eat large!
  • Wheaton's Best is the celebration of business excellence presented in partnership with the Downtown Wheaton Association.
